Talisman Celebration! September 18, 2024 Carrie Pratt We had a terrific 100th anniversary celebration of the Talisman, our life and culture magazine launched in 1924 as a yearbook! It was so great seeing our current students mix and mingle with some wonderful alumni, and hearing from all of them how their experience on the Talisman had made a mark on their lives. This was the first of four major celebrations marking the centennial of WKU Student Publications. Up next: Our Homecoming Breakfast on Nov. 16, the College Heights Herald’s 100th birthday party on Jan. 29, and our big Centennial Weekend celebration April 25–26.
