We are so grateful for all of our alumni and friends who make supporting WKU Student Publications part of their lives.

To honor those who have given sacrificially to support the students of the College Heights Herald, Talisman, Student Publications Advertising and Cherry Creative, we intend to erect a second donor display in the lobby of the Adams-Whitaker Student Publications Center.

The display will include the names of those alumni, friends and other supporters who have reached at least $10,000 in lifetime giving to Student Publications and our student-run divisions.

It will be updated annually to recognize donors at three levels, with names traveling from the entry point of the display to the top level.

THE ADAMS-WHITAKER SOCIETY

The pinnacle of our recognition for lifetime giving is named for Robert R. “Mr. A” Adams and David B. “Boss” Whitaker, the two leaders who created the legacy of professionally based student publications at WKU. The Adams-Whitaker Society recognizes those who reach the $50,000 threshhold of lifetime giving to Student Publications.

THE FRANCES RICHARDS SOCIETY

Named for the first editor and longtime adviser to the College Heights Herald, the Frances Richards Society recognizes those who reach the $25,000 threshhold of lifetime giving to Student Publications.

THE HERALD & TALISMAN SOCIETY

Named for our two flagship publications, the Herald & Talisman Society recognizes those who reach the $10,000 threshhold of lifetime giving to Student Publications.
