or every one of our four student-ledoperations, and a finalist in every category we are eligible to enter in this Pacemaker cycle. The Pacemakers are awarded by Associated Collegiate Press and recognize the best student-run media in the country. Finalists will be honored and Pacemaker winners announced on March 7 at the ACP National College Media Conference in San Francisco.
WKU Student Publications is among the most honored student media groups in the country, collecting 51 Pacemakers since our first in 1978 for the Talisman, then a yearbook, and in 1981 for the Herald, then acampus newspaper.
All together, the Herald has 25 Pacemakers (and is the sixth most-honored publication in Pacemaker history), 23 for the Talisman and three combined for Cherry Creative and Advertising.
Please join me in congratulating the students who power our exceptional student media at WKU!
