We had an amazing fall training. Several professionals were so giving in their time to help train this next generation of student journalists.
Students learned about how journalists can better work with law enforcement when covering news, strategies for better social media, what it’s like to be a working photojournalist, how to be savvy in sales & portraiture, better communication, and sameville vs. realville. They even got to compete in a late night campus scavenger hunt, and a new office trophy was born from office scraps.
We have the best students who come hungry to learn, and alumni & professionals who are always willing to give back.
