Trey Crumbie, a 2015 WKU graduate, has been named the communications specialist for the Kentucky House of Representatives. Crumbie, a former College Heights Herald reporter and editor, most recently worked for the Lexington Herald-Leader as a regional reporter and a regional business reporter. Before that, he worked at the Kentucky Standard in Bardstown, covering the city school system and tourism.
“I feel pretty excited about taking the job. I’ve wanted to eventually transition into public relations since starting my journalism career and I feel like this is a nice step for me,” Crumbie said. “I’m definitely looking forward to working with the numerous people that make our government run and learning about the inner workings for Frankfort.”
Congratulations, Trey!
