Jeremy Chisenhall is the new executive editor of the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Jeremy, 27, is a December 2019 WKU graduate and was editor-in-chief of the College Heights Herald in Fall 2019. He went straight to work for the Herald-Leader and was soon elevated to breaking news editor. He spent the past two years as the Georgia editor for McClatchy, overseeing The Macon Telegraph and the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.
“This is the job, genuinely, I think I was born to do,” Jeremy said on Wednesday, shortly after his appointment was announced to the Herald-Leader newsroom.
He starts his new role on Monday.
