The WKU Student Publications 2023 Homecoming Breakfast is set for 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Adams-Whitaker Student Publications Center.
We’ll start at 9 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship and then have a short program that starts at 9:45 a.m.
During that program, three things will happen:
- We’ll honor our 71st winner of the College Heights Herald Award for Outstanding Contributions to Journalism, Monica Dias, senior counsel for The E.W. Scripps Company.
- We’ll celebrate our 26th winner of the Talisman Award for Outstanding Contributions in Communication, Julie Grundy Roberts, vice president for development and advocacy at Kentucky Performing Arts.
- We’ll celebrate the terrific work our students continue to do across our four divisions — Talisman, College Heights Herald, Student Publications Advertising and Cherry Creative — and the achievements they brought home during the past year.
So come join us as we mark the 72nd gathering for alumni of WKU Student Publications — a tradition on the Hill since 1950!
