Some current Herald & Talisman staffers got to hear former Herald photo editors & staffers talk about their career paths and their experience in Student Pubs and the photojournalism program this afternoon. These guys are so great, and we were just so happy to see them return to give back. Tyler Essary is an art director for the Today Show in NYC, Ian Maule works for Getty in Las Vegas, Luke Franke freelances in Louisville and edits for the Audubon Society, and Austin Anthony is our local regional freelancer covering stories for national publications and doing amazing corporate work for many local businesses and organizations. Couldn’t be more proud of who these four. They were among the first students I advised and I’m just so happy to see what great people they have become. After they left, the current students raved about how cool they are.
