We had a fine evening Sunday at Grassa Gramma, one of the restaurants in Louisville owned by WKU alum Kevin Grangier, as a benefit night for WKU Student Publications.
We crushed the goal of at least 100 people dining either in the restaurant or ordering take-out, meaning Grassa Gramma will donate 10% of the night’s proceeds to the Student Publications Legacy Fund in the College Heights Foundation, which helps us meet current needs.
The event was organized by Julie Harris Hinson, who manages charity events for Grangier’s Belle Noble Entertainment Group, which also owns The Village Anchor and Le Moo and the soon to open Sake A Go Go. Hinson is a former member of the WKU Board of Regents and a strong supporter of Student Publications.
We will update you when we know more about how it all benefited the Legacy Fund!
Thank you to all our alumni and friends who came out for a fine meal at Grassa Grande, to visit with Mr. A and to help Student Pubs!
