Carrie Pratt is the multi platform news advisor for the College Heights Herald at Western Kentucky University. She’s very excited to be back at Western and to help future students prepare for their careers in storytelling. Prior to her current job, Carrie was a senior video editor at the Tampa Bay Times. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Carrie graduated from WKU in 1998 and worked for the St. Petersburg Times for 10 years. Taking a leave of absence in 2008, Carrie got her master’s degree from Ohio University, and then returned as a producer for the Times. While at the Times, Carrie was responsible for long term projects as well as daily and pieces for the marketing department.
